Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Paul William Davis of Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 79, on December 29, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marmaduke and Ruby Ellen McElfresh Davis; his wife Nancy Ann Morris Davis; his son Paul William Granville Davis; his granddaughter April Dawn Abel; and his sisters, Nellie Davis Hickman (John) and Dorothy Ellen Davis Briggs.
He is survived by: his children, Jefferson (Princess Davis), Susan Morris of Fairmont and Barbara Ellen Davis of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Emerald Davis Robe (Steven), Melissa Morris, Steven Morris, Marsha Morris, Robert Abel, Shannon Abel, Daniel Abel, Amber Davis, Brittney Davis, Kayla Davis, Paul Jr. Davis, Brooklyn Quisenberry and Ashley Davis; and his brother-in-law Bob Briggs of Medina, OH.. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford Funeral Home (201 Columbia St, Fairmont, WV 26554). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Paul's favorite cause, the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
