He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymer Lee Watkins and Mary Isabel Fortney Watkins; his wife Mary Josephine Henderson Watkins; his granddaughter Jillian Krepps; and his siblings, James Allen Watkins, Aurther Lee Watkins, Robert Eugene Watkins and Mary Madeline Bradford.
He is survived by: his children, David Alan Watkins (Donna) of Fairmont, Linda Paulette Maloney (Steven) of Farmington and Julia Christine Troyer (Hugh) of Fairmont; his brother Raymer Dale Watkins (Martha) of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Mary Louise Watkins. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
