He is survived by: his grandchildren, University Basketball of West Virginia, Football and Elk River; his wife Shelia Shaffer; his children, Kelle Kelly (Donnie) of Pennsylvania, Jay Shaffer (Amanda) of Stephenville, TX, Christopher Shaffer of Morgantown and Curtis Shaffer (Angie) of Fairmont; his stepsons, Chad Dillon (Cristina) and Nicholas Dillon (Andrea); his grandchildren, Will Jones, Camden Jones, Jaelyn Shaffer, Ryan Shaffer, Jocelynn Kilgore, Lilly Dillon and Gabe Dillon; his sisters, Lois Becker (Bill) and Kim Michael (Randy); and his children-in-law, Billy Jones (Lisa) and Andi Dodd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
