She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cartwright and Evelyn "Jean" Cartwright (Davis). She is survived by: her husband Harry R. Copen; her children, Harry W. Copen II (Sandra) and Faith Copen; her granddaughters, Adalia and Kirsten; and her siblings, Rick Cartwright, Sharon Clelland (Robert), Cindy Stone (Ned), Tammy Bell (Jeff) and Steve Cartwright (Ginger). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Schwab Family Cancer Center, 12500 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.
