Julian Asher Pitman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julian Asher Pitman of Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Pitman and Ina Pitman (Michael) of Four States; and his wife Angelina Maset (Nenie). He is survived by: his sister Joan; his brother-in-law A. E. "Buck" Blagg; his daughter-in-law Sharon Davis Pitman; his sons, Julian A. "Dusty" (Darlene) and Van (Kathy); his grandchildren, Krista Bryant (Calvin), Becky Hamilton (Scott), Angela Pitman, James Pitman (Ashley), John Pitman (Sandra), Jared Pitman and Tessla McGraw (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Jake, Emily, Cole Pitman, Graham Bryant, Morgan, Shelby Hamilton and Grayson Asher McGraw; his friend Arnold (Jean Efaw); and his nephew Monty Burdoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Julian's memory to Wreaths Across America, an organization that ensures deceased veterans are honored by placing wreaths at their gravesites at Christmas.
