He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Honor Forte and Lauralee Musgrave Forte. He is survived by: his wife Ellen "June" Metz Forte; his son Matthew Forte (Tammy) of Hedgesville; his grandchildren, Isabella Forte of Hedgesville and Tanner Coombs (Maggie) of Morgantown; his great grandchildren, Cannon and Ronan Coombs; his siblings, Michael Forte (Sharon) of South Carolina, Honor Forte Jr. (Debbie) of Grafton and Kathy Hall (Dave) of Fairmont; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannette Hayes Knight of Mannington, Joyce Bostaph of Vienna and Robert Metz (Susan) of Mannington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
