He is survived by: his wife Lorea Gay Frush Monell; his sons, Rocky Allen Filius (Debbie) of Fairmont and Mark Steven Filius of Fairmont; his grandson Felix Monell; and his sisters, Sheila Kelly of New Jersey and Janet Monell of Florida.
