It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edward Jenkins of Fairmont, West Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Edward Jenkins and Johanna Hildegard Kube Jenkins; and his brother Ralph David Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mae Ware Jenkins; his daughter Heather Dawn Shumate of Fairmont; his granddaughters, Hannah Marie Shumate of Worthington and Sarah Elizabeth Shumate of Worthington; his brother Charles Don Jenkins (Margaret) of Norfolk, VA; his sister-in-law Rhonda Jenkins of Newburg; and his son-in-law Robert Shumate II of Worthington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
