He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Smith (Eloise) and Jessie Tucker Reynolds (Edward). He is survived by: his wife Susan Beasley Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Debra M. Baugh of Lake City, FL, Marcia C. O'Leary of Lakeland, FL, Kimberly Green (George) of Fairfax, VA and Brett Beasley (Linda) of Front Royal, VA. He is also survived by two nieces and five nephews.
