He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lantz Hupp and Anna Barnes Hupp of Virginia; his wife Olive Brenda Cornwell Hupp; his stepson Richard Harris; and his siblings, Charles "Tim" Hupp, Michael Hupp, Richard Hupp, Mary Talkington and Doris Hupp.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Roger Harris of Earth, Steven Harris of South Hampton and Anthony Harris of Littleport, England; his sisters, Virginia Parsons of Abingdon, VA and Sally Hyre of Raleigh, NC; his friends, Charles "Jack" Davis of Fairmont and Charles Morgan of Grafton; his family, Sharon and Chuck Smith; and also, Trey of Barrackville, WV. and Travis Smith of Barrackville, WV.. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren.
