He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Conover and Margaret Nixon Conover; his wife June Conover; his children, Christine Abel, Cindy and Douglas; his grandchildren, Stephen, Dallas and Lester; and his siblings, Joyce Encke, Ruth Andrews, Mildred Fritchman, Charles Conover, Jr. and Larry Conover.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Poff (David); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Conover, William Abel, Archie Abel and Justin Poff. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
