It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Lee Bruce (Fairmont, West Virginia), born in Mannington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Elizabeth Masters; his wife Jean Ann Bruce; his daughters, Becky Mattern (Ted) of Morgantown, Jan Ellen Brown of Charlotte, NC and Amy Carpenter (Jeff) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Patrick Weaver (Chanda) of Morgantown, William V. Weaver (Meredith) of Morgantown, Jay Carpenter (Anna) of Morgantown, Jenny Potter (Jesse) of Poland, Kerry Carpenter of Fairmont, Kelly Jean Brown (Mark) of Charlotte and Erin Brown of New York City; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Thorn Weaver of Morgantown, Kyle Patrick Weaver of Morgantown, Michael Bruce Weaver of Morgantown, Quinn Hardy Carpenter of Morgantown and Weston Ryan Potter of Poland, Ohio.; his brother-in-law Larry Hall of Fernandina Beach, FL; his uncle Nassif Rohanna of Mannington; his cousin Emily McDowell of Fairmont; his uncle Elmer "Punk" Masters; and his aunts, Betty Rohanna and Louise Snider.
