He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bill Grant and Annie Lee Miles Ingram (late Leatha); his grandchildren, Julie Owolabi, Debbie and Shirley Grant; his sister Bernice Bridges (James); his children, Diane Grant Hathaway, Denise Grant of Calumet City, Jerome Grant of Chicago and George Anthony White of Fairmont, WV; his stepmother Laura Lee Grant of Haynesville, Alabama; his brothers, John Robinson of Inkster, John Grant of Haynesville, Eddie Lee Grant of Haynesville and Willie Lee Grant of Charleston; his stepbrother James Allen Smith of Haynesville, Alabama; his sisters, Laura Faye Malcolm of Roosevelt, Matilda, Doris Grant Thomas of Haynesville, Geraldine Sutton of Selma, Anita Louise (Joe River) of Millbrook and Mary Crenshaw of Detroit, Michigan; his stepsister Rosie Dunklin of Selma; and his close friend Dorothy Mae Chisolm of Birmingham. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be for Family ONLY and all family who attend are asked to wear a mask and take proper precautions.
