We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Francis Albert Chicarelli (Fairmont, West Virginia), born in Rivesville, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Chicarelli and Teresa Torch Chicarelli; his son Marc Allen Chicarelli; his grandchildren, Jacoby Chicarelli and Jovi Chicarelli; and his siblings, John Chicarelli, James Chicarelli, Edward Chicarelli, Benito Chicarelli, Michael Chicarelli, Mary Livingston, Anna Calanca, Mildred Straight, Rose Kimbrew, Martha Butcher, Madeline Chicareilli and Barbara Jean Chicarelli.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Egidi Chicarelli of Fairmont; his son John Michael (Mary Jo Chicarelli) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Sarah (Tim Idelman) of Fairmont and Joshua (Bethany Chricarelli) of Uniontown, PA; his great grandchild Rowan AnneMarie Chicarelli; and his sister Eleanor Osborne of Fairmont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the family has chosen to hold private services with Father Vincent Joseph as Celebrant, as well as a private committal services that will be held at Grandview Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont where military honors will be held by the Marion County Veterans Council. A memorial mass for friends and family followed by a dinner will be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watson at a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It was Frank's wish that memorials contributions be made to a charity of their choice or to the St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1660 Mary Lou Retton Drive, Fairmont, WV 26554.
