He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shreve and Grace Cartwright Shreve; and his wife Rosaria. He is survived by: his children, David G. Shreve of Fairmont, Kay Boyles (George) of Fairmont and Sue Lee (Greg) of North Carolina; and his sister-in-law Carmella Saporito of Fairmont. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
