He was predeceased by: his parents, Dawson Cottrell and Roxie Rider Cottrell; his wife Elva Vance Cottrell; and his siblings, Lowell Cottrell and Opal Cottrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Lee Villers (Ronald) and Lori Lynn Wisenbaler (Roger); his grandchildren, Ashley, Tanner, Hunter and Jay Wisenbaler; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Ashley "Nikie" Wisenbaler; and his brother Hampton Cottrell.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Clyde's memory to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1604 Morgantown Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554.
