He was predeceased by: his parents, Tofake Francis and Mahiba Abou Ghosn Francis; his wife Marie Elena Francis (Donnellon); his siblings, Seseen Francis and Josette Anwar (Farooq Anwar); and his nephew John Anwar.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Francis (Martha Francis) of Hurricane, WV, Andrea Francis of Huntington, WV and Jackie Hudson (Darryl Hudson) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Patrick Francis, Abigail Francis and Daniel Hudson; his great grandchild Paige Francis; his sister Mary Ann Poshadel of Fairmont, WV.; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his faithful companion.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a beagle rescue, animal rescue, or important cause in the donor's community.
