It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Moore Gay of Fairmont, West Virginia, born in Petersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hubert Moore and Delma Arena Sholes Moore; her spouse Jerry Lee Gay; and her brother Jack Moore. She is survived by: her children, Steve Gay (Lisa) of Phoenix, AZ, Terri Linger (Bill) of Fairmont, Sherri Trefz (Scott) of Fairmont and Jenifer Maczka (Derek) of Hawaii; her grandchildren, Nicole Gray, Wesley Gray, Jessica Tacy, Alyssa Hodge, Zachary Linger, Nicolas Trefz, Andrew Trefz, Sydney Maczka and Nathan Maczka; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Tacy and Timmy Hodge; and her sisters, Marsha Cullen of Clarksburg and Pat Mason of Fairmont. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
