He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jean Simms; his daughter Bet'Jean Simms; and his grandson Rheo Rollins. He is survived by: his father Carl V. Simms; his significant other Priscilla Simms-Cox of Fairmont, WV; his children, Yalanda Simms of Fairmont, WV, Darnell Rollins (Danielle) of Fairmont, WV, Carl V. Simms III of Fairmont, WV, Samuel Rollins of Fairmont, WV, Daron Cox of Fairmont, WV and Symone Stewart of Fairmont, WV; his siblings, Charles E. Simms, Sharleane Simms, Racquel Horton (Billy), Jerome A. Tate and Lakisha Elders (Charles); his grandchildren, Tino Cartwright, Latony Cartwright, Tydarius Cartwright, Lavel Cartwright, Sidairius Justice, Katileia Rollins, William Rollins, Xavier Bryant, Syniah Rollins, Ryleigh Rollins, Saaliyah Stewart, Priscilla T. Cox and Kevont Cox; and his nieces and nephews, Jamille Allen, Leilene Maddox, Anthony Simms, Ramahud York, DaJuan Simms, Pablo Horton, Billy Horton, Javon Horton and Deileon Maddox. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
