It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brendan Kyle Matthews (Fairmont, West Virginia), who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Paul David Matthews; and his grandfather Simon Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Cami Handlan (Joseph "Jody" Handlan) of Fairmont; his brother Tristan Matthews (Deziray); his niece Lennox Matthews of Baltimore; his sister Joslyn Handlan of Fairmont; his girlfriend Amanda Papetti; his grandparents, Shirley Matthews of Monongah, Mickey, Mike Satterfield of Florida, Earl and Mareia McDougal of North Carolina; and his stepgrandparents, Joe and Terry Handlan of Parkersburg. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
