She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Zorko and Mary Zorko Evanoff; her husband Tony Slate; her son Michael Slate; and her siblings, Clara Naunchik, Helen Shumskey, Kate Monell, Sophia Wisniewski and Elick Zorko.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Tom Bickerstaff of Fairmont; her granddaughters, Lori (Robert Ashcraft), Vicki (David Smith), Jessica (Tony Nichols) and Julie Slate; her great grandchildren, Wesley Ashcraft (Reagan Nichols), Brooke (Justin Welling), John David Smith and Frankie Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Ruth Ashcraft and Brandon Miller.
