He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Neil Edgar Sr. and Nell Malone Edgar; his stepdaughter Georgia G. Riffle; and his brother Michael Lee Edgar. He is survived by : his close friend Lorna Ullom-Horning; his son William "Will" Perry Horning of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Bryan Rasbeary, Emily of Clarksburg, Raybecca Nutterville, Shane of Killeen, TX, Steven and Scott Horning of Houston, TX; his great grandchildren, Evan William Horning, Zack Rasbeary and Xyla Nutterville; his brother Robert Neil Edgar Jr. of California; and his half-sisters, Leslie and Laura of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (3171 Husky Hwy, Farmington, WV 26571). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at the Ioof Cemetery.
