He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Ruth Smith of Fairdale. He is survived by: his wife Vernie Smith; his brother Ernest Smith of Tazewell; his children, Marvin Harold (Becky) of Clarksburg, WV, Mark Harold (Jennifer) of Beckley, WV, Ronald Smith (Marielena) of Rancho Mirage, CA, Tina Smith of Beckley, WV and Carolyn Bartlett of Daniels, WV; and his grandchildren, Angela Johnson (Franklin), Casey Samples, Amanda Bartlett, Ryan Harold, Eric Crowe, Soffee Cid-Smith, Brady Rogers, Thomas Meadows, Jacob Meadows and Heather Meadows. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and numerous other nieces, nephews.
