He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Hill and Marie Hill; his wife Gail Hill; and his sister Regina Kay Hill. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Johnna Minor, Brittani Weis, Caila Hill, Mary Bloom, Mathew Hill, Allie Bolt, Leah Hill and Bryant Hill; his sister Tracie Walls (D. J.) of Montgomery, TX; and his pet Roscoe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
