She was predeceased by: her husband Joe David McCallister Sr.; her son Joe David McCallister Jr.; and her parents, Chuck Carter and Ethel Carter. She is survived by: her daughter Tina Lynch (Chris Ward) of Eskdale; her grandchildren, Bryer Lynch (Kylie Kirkland) of Julian and Katelyn Lynch (Zachary Cox) of Marmet; her siblings, Brenda Ashby of Sissonville, Terry Bock (Brian) of Parkersburg, Kelly Winnell (Mark) of South Carolina, Ginger Breeden (Roger) of Charleston and Calvin Carter (Lucinda) of Point Pleasant; and her pet Willie.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
