With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard James Harris of Erbacon, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Richard James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Harris Green. He is survived by: his father James "Bill" William Green; his wife Fleshia; his siblings, Kennith, Robert and Carolyn; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (160 Railroad Ave W, Cowen, WV 26206). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
