He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Edna Dodd (Heath); and his siblings, Roy Dodd, Max Dodd, Millard Dodd, Nile Dodd, Jimmy Dodd, Betty Blankenship, Evelyn Whitehair, Helen Snider, Nancy Dodd, Pauline Stevens and Peggy Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Dodd (Whaley); his children, Tony Dodd of Ellenboro, WV, Jodi McCoy (David) of Pennsboro, WV and Angela Tennant (John) of Wellsburg, WV; his granddaughter Jessica Jacobs (Carl); his children, Crystal Cross, William McCoy and Hannah McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Skyla Jacobs and Noah Macabee.
