He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. McDonald and Nina A. McDonald (Matheny); and his grandchildren, Tara McDonald and David Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Sheila McDonald (Rinehart); his children, Greg McDonald (Angela) and Sheri Lawrence (Finch Community) of Ellenboro, WV; his grandchildren, Megan Francis (Jesse), RJ McDonald (Alessandra), Shayla McGuire (Ryan), Hunter Parsons (Ashley), Tyler McDonald and Ashley Lawrence; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Kolt Francis, Gabby, Serenity, Anna and Paxton Parsons; and his sister Mary Gabriel (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the ongoing health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private.
