He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Kearns and Freddie Glenn Kirk. He is survived by: his daughter Emery Rose Kirk; his parents, William Kirk (Tera) and Patricia Blackwell (John); his siblings, Sarah Williams (B. J.), Rachel Welling (Logan) and Samuel Kirk; his grandmothers, Mary Shafer and Dora Kirk; and his nieces and nephews, McKinley, Bailey and Nolan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
