He was predeceased by: his wife Bette Caroline Olson Burdette; his parents, William Forrest Burdette and Kate Smith Burdette; and his siblings, Sue Olson, Kathryn Parsons, Kay Paxton, Charlie, Bob and Danny Burdette.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Burdette (Darlinda), Diane Parker, Beverly Farrell and Marsha Larkin (Pete); and his brother Steve Burdette. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
