He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Epling and Celia Fields Epling; and his sisters, Marsha Stewart and Mary Maurantonio. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Thaxton Epling; his sons, Craig Epling (Christie) of Pinch and Nathan Epling (Beth) of Madison; and his grandchildren, Dakota Epling, Hailie Epling and Brodie Epling. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
