He was predeceased by: his son Brian Paul Haas; his parents, Russell Haas and Orpha Thompson Hackney; and his brothers, William Haas, James Haas and Herbert Haas.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Haas (Angela) of South Charleston and Lisa Haynes (Jon) of Elkview; his brother Charles Haas of Scott Depot; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Briana, Alana, Nathaniel, Jetta, Jenna, Katelyn and Luke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
