She was predeceased by: her husband Emmitt Taylor; her parents, Eugene Kiser and Ethel Williams; her grandparents, Star and Macel Fields; and her grandson Colin Qualls.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert Thorn; her children, Theresa Scarberry, Carolyn Johnson (Rob Dessez), Judith Qualls (Jason Wade), Jennifer Clark (Michael) and Charlie Harper (Tricia Pierce); and her siblings, Joy Stricker (Danny), Cheryl Rogers, Charlene Kirby and Eugene Kiser Jr. (Cali). She is also survived by stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews among other extended family.
