He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Strickland and Edna Strickland; and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Angela Strickland of Elkview, Jerry Strickland II of Elkview and Brett Strickland of Elkview; his grandchildren, Brittany Christenberry and Tyler Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Emery and Rhiannon Christenberry.
