He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Hawkins and Rosa Hawkins; and his sisters, Francis Stricker, Naomi Jones and Ruth Ann Hawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Yvette Woods (Rick), Kimrenae Beers (Daryl), Joy Hawkins-Good, James "Sonny" Hawkins (Sherri) and Trampus Hawkins (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Carla Casto (Aaron), Richie Woods (Michelle), Tia Amorim (Jason), Tracey Herpai (Dave), Sara Hypes (Chris), Shane Hawkins, Alexa Hawkins and Kaden Hawkins; and his sister Helen Hill of Arizona. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
