He is survived by: his wife Jeannie of Elkview; his children, Jeffery Thaxton (Shellie) of Saint Albans, WV, Zachary Thaxton (Brandy) of Cross Lanes, WV, Mason Alley of Ohio and Emmalee Thaxton (Aaron Shafer) of Elkview, WV; his stepdaughter Madison Soler (Ricardo) of Texas; his siblings, Angela Fields, Kimberly Boggess of Charleston, WV, Tammy Holtgrefe of Maryland and Burl "Sterling" Thaxton (Scotty Lee Cain); his grandchildren, Audrey, Adlee, Jake Thaxton, Rilea, Brailyn, Aria Thaxton, Kholson Thaxton, Luca and Mila Soler; and also Mason Boggess (Kristen) of Cross Lanes, WV.
