He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Christina Smith (Shaffer). He is survived by: his wife Leota Smith; his children, Ronnie, Danny Smith and Debbie Warden; and his sister Maxine Dick of Charleston. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
