He is survived by: his son Harold Richard Fitzgerald, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Pam; his grandchildren, Jacob and Caitlin of Woodbridge, VA; and his siblings, Leonard Fitzgerald of Leesburg, VA and Myrtle Lee Smith of Charleston, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
