She is survived by: her husband Bill Grimm; her daughters, Rita Douglas (Buck) of Ripley, WV, Lisa Whitehair (Craig) of Elkview, WV and Tina Thaxton (John) of Elkview, WV; her stepsons, Marty Grimm (Carrie) of Elkview, WV, Mike Grimm (Jodi) of Elkview, WV and Mark Grimm (Cathy) of Elkview, WV; and her siblings, Tammy Akers of Raceland, KY, Larry Akers of Ashland, KY and Bobby Akers (Vickie) of Greenup, KY. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
