She was predeceased by: her father Boyd Hutchinson; her husband Paul G. Dickey; her children, Boyd Sweeney and Stacy Jean Dickey Bowen; and her brother Bill Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Sweeney, Catherine Ellis, Paulette Dickey Johns (Scott) and Michelle Dickey Naylor (Jeff); her grandchildren, Rustyn Booth, Kellie Moore (Josh), Whitney Dickey and Tyler Sweeney; and her great grandchildren, Jayden Wright, Ellis Wright and Grant Sweeney.
After she had outgrown the playhouse she donated it to the Beckley Coal Mine Exhibition and Youth Museum, where it still stands on display.
