It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmett Franklin Seafler of Elkview, West Virginia, born in Big Chimney, West Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Sue Seafler of Elkview; his parents, Violet Seafler Keaton and Emmett Frances Seafler of Big Chimney; his siblings, Gertrude LaFoune Massey, George, Russ and Jake Seafler; and his grandson Ethan Spradling.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Mike Morris) of Pinch, Beth (Cris Spradling) of Charleston and Franklin Seafler (Colleen Lewicki) of Elkview; his brother Darrel Bruce Seafler (Jim) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Micheal Morris, Cody, Jonathan Seafler and Cameron Spradling.
