We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2022, at the age of 91, Doris Thumm Shank of Elkview, West Virginia, born in Ripley, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend James O.; her parents, Reverend George Thumm and Myrtle Thumm; and her siblings, Garold, Milford, Byron, Janice Thumm Woods and Phyllis Thumm Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, James A., Linda C., John P. (Vicky) and Brenda J. "Joy" Hill (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Rebecca Shank Petitt (Christopher), Joshua Shank, Jonathan Shank (Niesha), Tiffany Hill Clark (Derek), Jacob Hill (Hannah) and Adam Hill (Ashley). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
