He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Ruth Holstine; and his brother Denzil Holstine. He is survived by: his children, Darrell Holstine, Jr. (Amber), Okey and Hollie Holstine; his sisters, Gwen Goff (Marvin) and Nona Hall; his siblings-in-law, Mike DeBord and Linda Holstine; his grandchildren, Mason, Shawn, Cadyn, Abby and Waylon; his stepgrandchildren, Mickenzie, Sabian and Lakin; and his close friends, Jim McQuillen, Eric and Timmy Clendenin.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be sent to Hospice Care of West Virginia at 1606 Kanawha Blvd W, Charleston, WV 25387.
