She was predeceased by: her father Billy Lucas; her father-in-law Dale Hamrick; her uncle Bobby Dale Melton; her grandparents, Basil and Syble Melton; her niece Chrystal Hamrick Rounds; her uncle Billy Joe Melton; her aunts, Betty Melton and Carol Mollohan; and her father-in-law Lewis Doddril.

She is survived by: her husband Matthew Craig Hamrick; her children, Jason L. Hamrick (Ashley) of Lexington, KY, Christina L. Baber (Michael) of Atlanta and Melissa Gilbert (Keith) of South Charleston; her mother Peggy Lucas; her sister Lisa Burgess (Mark) of Elkview; her nephew Lucas Wagoner (Audrey Dodd); her brothers-in-law, Terry Hamrick (Melissa) and Mark Hamrick (Kim); her mother-in-law Janet Hamrick; and her pets, Gabriella, Cody, Lilly, Frenchie, Ellie, Cooper and Blue.
