With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Keith Parsons of Elkview, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Auvil Parsons and Hattie Harpold Parsons; his wife Martha Abbott Parsons; and his siblings, Kathryn Dolin, Joann Walls, Mary Bandy, Auvil Parsons Jr. and John Parsons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela R. Gandee (Jeff) and Sheila Burgess; his close friend Elizabeth Sampson; his sisters, Barbara Chandler and Dorothea Warner; his grandchildren, Meredith Haley (Rhett), Charlton Gandee (Chrissy), Carly Fragale (Joseph) and Garrett Burgess (Keegan); and his great grandchildren, Laylenn, Rowan and Davis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to Fairview Memorial Gardens in care of Poca Valley Bank, Clendenin, WV 25045 or Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Choir c/o David Swor.
