He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie J. Coberly and Leona M. Dean Coberly. He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Pomp; his wife Nancy Williams; his daughter Natasha Pingley (Todd); his grandchildren, Cody Pingley and Chase Pingley of Coalton, WV; his daughter Sara Coberly; his grandson Kaleb Corder of Belington, WV.; and his siblings, Benjamin Coberly of Elkins, Donald Coberly (Robin) of Elkins, Geraldine Alice Simmons (late Fred) of Elkins, Freda Mae Coberly Louk of Elkins, Carol Elizabeth Hedrick (Arthur) of Elkins, Phoebe Ann Ramsey (Robert) of Elkins, Charlotte Leona Scott (Edward) of Elkins and Irene Frances Shreve (Richard) of Elkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a countless number of other relatives and friends.
