With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willard Lee Herron (Elkins, West Virginia), born in Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Herron and Gertrude Herron; his wife Loretta "Toni" Mae Giles; and his son Michael Delmas Herron. He is survived by: his son Stephen Lee Herron; his granddaughters, Amy Herron of Charlotte, Rebecca Herron of Charlotte and Leia Drakeford (Kelvin) of Concord; his great grandchildren, Hudson Herron, K. J. Drakeford, Liam Drakeford, Levi Drakeford and Genevieve Herron; and his daughter-in-law Libby Herron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerns Avenue, Elkins, WV 26241 in Willard's name or to a charitable organization of your choice.
