He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ellis Cooper and Martha Elizabeth Tharp Cooper; his wife Flora Ann McGee Cooper; his sisters, Mary Cooper Hartman, Doris Woods Brown and Josephine Cooper Kelly; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Kelly and Bob Brown.
He is survived by: his son Walter Thomas Cooper, II (Teresa "Terri" McCloud) of Elkins; his siblings, Dayton Ellis Cooper (Patty) of Morgantown and Joyce Cooper Moore (Bob) of Morgantown; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Hartman of Elkins.
The family request flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Tom.
