The passing of Vickie Ward of Elkins, West Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 73. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Vickie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vickie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Fansler and Edith Lunsford Fansler; and her siblings, Howard, Evertt, William Fansler and Betty Fansler Gear.
She is survived by: her husband Charles S. "Charlie" Ward; and her son Charles S. "Chuck" Ward, II (Christine) of Elkins.
The inurnment will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ward Family Cemetery.
The family request contributions be made to Mansfield Place, 5 Healthcare Drive, Philippi, WV 26416 in memory of Vickie.
