With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sterling Wallace Yeager of Elkins, West Virginia, born in Belington, West Virginia, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Bernard Yeager and Ethel Pearl England Yeager; his wife Zelma Pearle Proudfoot; and his brothers, Sparkman Yeager, Milford Yeager and Glen Yeager.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Wallace Yeager (Susie) of Lewisburg, John Arthur Yeager (Amy) of Elkins and Jerry Lynn Yeager (Angie) of Beverly; his grandchildren, Colleen, Michael (Kristy), Stephanie, Katelyn (Aaron), Jared (Cassie) and Chelsea; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Whitaker, Emily, Kyndall, Mason, Brady and Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
